Welcome to my travel blog, where you can learn more about me.
I grew up in Auckland, New Zealand, and moved to Brisbane, Australia, at the age of 21. I worked in banking in New Zealand and then returned to banking in Australia. I would spend my holidays overseas, exploring countries and cultures around the world, but time and money came before travel. Fortunately, the travel bug had bitten me.
After banking, I became a caregiver to my parents, before that chapter of my life came to an end. I now travel full-time again.
I’ve wanted to start a travel blog for the past few years, but time and inspiration have just been lacking. Now that I’m travelling and staying in hostels, I’m getting asked what to do out and about around New Zealand, and, being me, I’ll sit and talk about the places I’ve loved.
That was the right time to start the blog and keep a reference for fellow travellers on the places I have visited.
