Parking is free at the entrance.
Best Lothian Bus Options:
- 29: Departs from Princes Street (near Waverley Station) and goes to Silverknowes Court, a short walk from the castle.
- 47 (or 47B): Departs from Queensferry Street (West End of Princes Street) to Barnton Gardens.
- 27: Alternatively, it takes around 37 minutes to reach the vicinity.
