Located right on the Brisbane River, you can get to enjoy the breeze off the river.

The Eateries

Located next to the Brisbane River, the $5 entry (free for under 12s) gets you into the markets, which have shops and eateries catering for everyone’s tastes.

Stalls from South America, Mexico, the USA and more countries from around the world, where you can eat in sheltered comfort.

Eat Street Northshore Brisbane is only open at weekends, Friday and Saturday 4 pm – 8 pm and Sunday 12 noon to 8 pm. Dogs that are friendly and kept under control are also welcome, and more than ready to pick up anything that drops on the ground.

Laneways are built undercover to help protect you from the hot Brisbane sun. There are also outside areas to eat and play.

With about 70 stalls, you’ll be spoilt for choice at Eat Street Northshore Brisbane. Savoury, sweet, Asian, Greek, Middle Eastern or everyone’s favourites Fish and Chips.

Most stalls have EFTPOS, but it’s handy to have cash as you might incur a transaction fee. There is an ATM on site.

There is live entertainment as well as audio systems adding to the party vibe. Alcohol is available with three bars throughout the complex. You can’t take your own onto the site.

Getting There

If you’re driving, you have more than 1200 free car parks, which fill up quickly. From Kingsford Smith Drive, turn into Theodore Street, then follow the signs to Eat Street Northshore Brisbane.

If you’re arriving from Brisbane City on public transport, the CityCat ferries would be your best and easiest way.

The CityCat is a quick, easy and scenic way to get to Eat Street Northshore.

Your nearest ferry terminal is Northshore Hamilton which is only a 250m walk away. You can find the journey planner here.

Conclusion

Eat Street Northshore Brisbane is an excellent place to enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon or a party weekend night. I visited on a Sunday afternoon when it opened, and it was busy enough then. There’s a real family vibe that I’m sure would change as the sun sets.

The hardest part of your day will be deciding what to eat at Eat Street Northshore Brisbane.
